Catholic Partnership Schools is proud to present the Dancing on the Stars Gala in honor of Mindy Holman. Dancing on the Stars is The Partnership’s signature event benefiting the “Fund A Future” tuition assistance program. Proceeds from this event cover the gap between the cost of tuition and the limited amount that our families are able to afford across our five schools in Camden. We invite you to join us for an evening filled with great food, drinks, raffle and auction prizes, and of course, dancing!

The Dancing on the Stars Gala is in honor of Mindy Holman and will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017,  from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Woodcrest Country Club, 300 E. Evesham Road, Cherry Hill , NJ 08003.

About our Honoree

Mindy Holman

Mindy Holman

Melinda “Mindy” Holman is Chairman of Holman Automotive and represents the third generation of Holman leadership at the helm of this family-owned and operated business. As Chairman, she is responsible for overseeing more than 25 different operating companies, which include automobile dealerships in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Florida, a retail auto finance company, an automotive parts distributorship, a truck up-fitting business, and the largest privately-owned fleet management company in North America.

She joined the Holman organization in 1986 first as a management trainee and then as an F&I Manager with one of the company’s New Jersey dealerships. She subsequently went on to serve as the General Manager of different dealerships within the company throughout the 1980s and early 1990s, before becoming Vice Chair of the company in 1994. She was named President of Holman Automotive in 2002, CEO in 2004, and Chairman in 2015. Her leadership within the industry has not gone unnoticed; her awards and honors include the Ford Motor Company’s Salute to Dealers Award, which she received along with her father, Joseph Holman (2004); the Hall of Fame Award from NJBiz for the Holman organization’s long-term commitment to business success in New Jersey (2007); and the National Association of Women Business Owners’ “Shattered the Glass Ceiling Award” for advocating for women in business (2010). She also was recognized as of the “100 Leading Women in the North American Auto Industry” by Automotive News (2010), was only one of 57 individuals from across the country honored as a TIME Dealer of the Year Award Nominee (2012), and was honored as one of the “Top Women in Fleet” by Automotive Fleet magazine (2012).

In all that she does, Mindy embodies and upholds the values established by her grandfather when he opened his first automotive dealership in 1924, which include an unyielding dedication to exceptional customer service and a devotion to giving back to the community. The Holman organization is especially committed to supporting community organizations both financially and through personal involvement and Mindy leads by example. Her civic memberships include serving as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey; serving as Vice Chair of the Community Foundation of South Jersey; and serving as a member of the Moorestown Friends School Committee. Her leadership within the community has been recognized by many organizations.

Mindy is married to Frank Beideman, Executive Vice President, Human Resources for the Holman organization, and they have two sons together – Brad, 22 and Joe, 19. Mindy also has two brothers – Jeff, a high school guidance counselor and tennis coach, and Steve, who joined the family business in 2014 as Director, Community Programs.
