The classrooms in the Partnership’s five schools are again filled with eager, energetic boys and girls happy to be back seeing old friends, making new ones, and sharing summer break stories. In this happy mix are the new students and their families getting a taste of the special qualities that drew them to our neighborhood schools in the first place – the structure and security, the strong sense of affection and belonging, and the rigorous academics at the core of the Catholic Partnership Schools’ educational experience.
Fran Montgomery, principal of St. Joseph Pro-Cathedral School in East Camden, said this overheard conversation was one of her favorites: Kindergartner to mother on the first day of school as she was being dropped off at the front door: “You can go now!”
