Abrakadoodle 

Abrakadoodle is a standards-based visual arts education program developed for children from pre-K through 8th grade.  Classes are designed to encourage exploration, innovation and creativity – key skills for 21st century students.  Children paint, draw, sculpt, design, imagine, sketch and explore using a wide variety of artist materials and techniques. Abrakadoole provides both in-school and after-school arts programs for two Catholic Partnership Schools.



Hispanic Network of Campbell Soup

Volunteers from the Hispanic Network of Campbell Soup meet weekly with Spanish-speaking families at Holy Name School and St. Anthony of Padua School. Volunteers provide ESL Classes, tutoring for students, and child care for younger children. Each night a new topic is discussed ranging from finances, to health and nutrition, to education.



Camden County Cultural & Heritage Commission

The role of the Cultural & Heritage Commission is to: (1) help strengthen community by providing education about the diverse cultural experiences available to all; (2) support grassroots organizations with funding and technical assistance; (3) serve as a clearing house of information and resources for artists and arts & cultural organizations; (4) increase and deepen the interaction between artists and the Camden County community; and (5) advocate publicly for culture as a vital asset to the residents of Camden County.  The Camden County Cultural and Heritage Commission provides funding for the Abrakadoodle program at Holy Name School.



The Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation

 Snider Hockey helps to educate young people to succeed in the game of life. Partnering with schools and community organizations, Snider Hockey’s goal is to impact the lives of underserved children through programs that incorporate both on-ice and off-ice recreational and academic activities and services. Through these programs, boys and girls develop life-enhancing values such as teamwork, positive self-esteem, a strong work ethic, and respect for themselves and others.



Mount St. Joseph Academy

A team of students from of Mount St. Joseph Academy in Flourtown, Pa., leads the First Lego League Robotics team at the Catholic Partnership Schools. Young women from Mount St. Joseph Academy meet weekly with CPS students to explore science and technology through the First Lego League Robotics program. Children engage in research, problem-solving, engineering, and friendly competition.



Rutgers University, Camden

Rutgers–Camden is a vibrant public research university delivering comprehensive undergraduate and graduate programs in the heart of the metro Philadelphia region. An official work study site for Rutgers University, students at the 5 Partnerships Schools receive high quality weekly afterschool tutoring from Rutgers students. Additionally, Rutgers Camden Center for the Arts  is one of the partner organizations enhancing art education in the Catholic Partnership
Schools.



Perkins Center for the Arts

Perkins Center for the Arts is dedicated to excellence in the arts and to providing a wide range of creative opportunities for people of all ages and of every level of artistic development. Recognized by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts as a Major Presenting Organization and receiving a Citation of Excellence, Perkins Center offers arts programs that promote participation, understanding, and communication among diverse audiences. Perkins Center for the Arts provides artists in residency in three Catholic Partnership Schools.



Symphony in C

The mission of Symphony in C is to maintain and support a symphony orchestra that provides training for tomorrow’s well-rounded orchestral musicians, music directors, soloists, and audiences by presenting excellent artistic and educational programs which contribute to enriching the cultural life of our community, our nation, and the world. Symphony in C offers several educational programs open to and in partnership with the Partnership Schools including the Symphony Summer Camp, the Catholic Partnership Schools Instrumental Program, and the Concerts for Young People.
