Give Your Time

The Catholic Partnership Schools Welcomes
Support from Volunteers.

The Catholic Partnership Schools has an array of terrific opportunities for you to share your expertise and satisfy your desire to give back. Your kindness and generosity will do a world of good for the children and families of Camden. Several options are listed below. If, however, you want to discuss other ways of donating your time and talent, please contact us!

Data Entry – If you are a data entry pro or are very detail oriented and can type, this is an opportunity made for you. Five Catholic Partnership Schools’ locations are moving data from hard copy to electronic files and we only have until August 31, 2011 to enter our student data collected over the past 60 years! We need your help immediately.

V.E.N. Program – The innovative Volunteers Engaging Neighbors Program is designed to help our Spanish-speaking families learn English and to successfully navigate the school system. Volunteers are needed to teach parents in English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, tutor students and help them with homework, and support parents as they work with their children to complete school assignments and projects.

After-School Programs - Do you have a special skill or talent to enrich students out of the classroom? Do you like to play scrabble, knit, or coach soccer? If you have an interest or hobby that you would like to share with students on a regular basis in our after-school program, our students want to learn from you!

Aviation Team Leaders – The Catholic Partnership Schools hosts Aviation Adventure Clubs where students learn about aviation using the Wild Blue Wonders Curriculum. Team leaders teach students about the history of aviation, forces of flight, and so much more. Students are able to fly in the Young Eagles Program. We need team leaders and assistant team leaders for the 2011-2012 school year. Pilot’s license not required.

Bookmates – Become one of our literacy partners and help to foster a love of books in children. Volunteer readers can participate in this formal program that visits grades K-2nd once per week to read to students.
