Mary R. Burke, Ed.D joins Catholic Partnership Schools as the new principal at St. Anthony of Padua School in the Cramer Hill neighborhood of Camden.
Dr. Burke brings to the Partnership more than 20 years experience as an educational consultant, teacher, school principal, and professor of education. She has designed, evaluated, and assessed programs for both public and private schools at all levels as owner and president of Standardized Test Scoring Company, Inc. and S-TESTS Assessments, Inc. In addition she has worked with the NativityMiguel Network of schools on the national and local levels; developed curriculum and taught research in education at the Graduate School of Education at Holy Family University in Philadelphia. She currently is an Ambassador for the Middle States Association.
A resident of Haddonfield, Dr. Burke served as principal of Christ the King School there; St. Rose of Lima School in Haddon Heights; San Miguel School in Camden; and Serviam Girls Academy in Wilmington, DE.
Dr. Burke received her B.A from the College of Arts & Sciences at Rutgers The State University in Camden, her M.Ed from Rutgers’ Graduate School of Education, and an Ed.D at Nova Southeastern University in Miami, FL. Her doctoral studies were in educational leadership, specializing in assessment and evaluation.
