Volunteers

Volunteers are an essential part of Catholic Partnership Schools’ ability to support the students and families. There are many different ways that you can volunteer with CPS. Some of the most valued, long-term volunteers serve in the following capacities:

  • Tutoring in our after school or summer programs
  • Coaching sports teams
  • Leading one of our school clubs
  • Working in our CPS main office doing clerical work
  • Serving on a school’s PTA
  • Serving on an event committee
  • Serving on our board of directors

Volunteers who work in the school buildings and/or directly with students are required to complete a fingerprint background check and a 3-hour VIRTUS training, in compliance with the Diocese of Camden’s Office of Child and Youth Protection policies and procedures. More information on Diocesan guidelines can be found here: http://www.camdendiocese.org/cyp/

Potential volunteers must also meet with the director of the program/school in which they are volunteering prior to their start date for an orientation.

Interested volunteers should contact Glenna Harkins- Director of Enrollment & Family Engagement or the principal of their child’s school.
