Instructional coaching occurs during classroom instruction where instructional coaches observe teachers, model teaching, provide feedback, and engage in meaningful discussions with teachers about their lessons and student learning. Our instructional coaches help to ensure high-quality instruction takes place in classrooms through modeling, co-planning, co-teaching, and providing feedback to teachers. Instructional coaches provide support in lesson planning and facilitate collaboration among teachers. The integration of coaching activities in a teacher’s day-to-day activities helps to enhance Catholic Partnership School's traditional PD workshop sessions.
